SugarDVD is one of the most popular online adult DVD rental services today. The best part about renting from Sugar is that they put customers first. Many adult-oriented business are poor on service, but Sugar is an exception.
Service Overview
Number of Titles: unknown, but it’s reported as average, likely in the 20,000 to 25,000 range
Billing Name: Your credit card statement will read “Oddesse Inc.” only.
Shipping Envelopes: Discreet, plain DVD envelopes stamped with “Oddesse.”
Pros:
- Polished, professional, reliable service
- Customer service is always top-notch
- Multiple shipping centers so that your rentals arrive faster
Cons:
- Some members report slow turnaround times
Site Usability
Can browse titles by studio, director, or genre. Handy actress and actor pages allow you to view overall ratings for adult stars. Star ratings and reviews for movies are also available to help you find a good selection. There are also several handy lists, including top rentals and best of genre lists. Unfortunately, for as professional as the service is, the site needs an overall. It is above average in terms of usability, but it falls behind other aspects of their service.

SugarDVD’s premium rental plans are less expensive than most other services, but their entry-level rental plan tend to be a bit more expensive. They do offer a 1 at a time rental plan, as well.

Overall excellent service. Pushing them over the top is the trustworthy, reliable service, but their web site leaves a lot to be desired.

I have been a member for almost a year. While yes they are a bit slow sometimes receiving returned videos to credit your account, the customer service can not be beat. They are always friendly and want to keep customers happy. Give them and chance and see for yourself.

Nothing but good things to say. Not NetFlix speeds as far as shipping goes, but faster than the other 2 services I tried. The deal maker for me was the navigability and clarity of their website. I’ve been a member on and off for… 3? maybe 4? years now? Again, great feelings about them.

They have multiple shipping centers and are the best place to rent adult DVDs online. They also offer video-on-demand services now. They are better than Blockbuster at getting movies turned around fast.

Good selections and customer service. I’ve tried other online rental companies and if you have a problem it would take them a week to get back to you. With Sugar they also mail new ones out as soon as they get the old ones back.

Popular titles out of stock and limited supply (1 disk probably),
very slow turnaround and its not the post office, we are 1 day away
from their locale, but the rentals take 1 week to reach us. I suspect they are either really understaffed, delay shipments to slow rental rates, or just don’t care.
